Account, Pro and updates
Settings, plans, Account Tholus and automatic updates.
Settings
Choose VR Converter Studio > Settings… (⌘,):
- General: app language, restoring the last session at startup, and snapping in new timelines.
- Export: preset, mode and VR metadata for new projects.
- Plan: your plan, what it includes and Account Tholus.
- Updates: automatic updates and the update channel.
Free and Pro
Free exports H.264 and HEVC 8-bit in standard and equirectangular formats, up to 1024 pixels on the long edge and 3 files in the queue. Full-resolution tests last 10 seconds and carry a watermark. Syphon runs for 20 minutes at up to 1024 pixels.
Pro unlocks full resolution, every projection, HEVC 10-bit, MV-HEVC, HEVC with Alpha and ProRes, HDR, custom bitrate, custom warp meshes, unlimited queues and Syphon, custom Syphon server names and fullscreen on other displays. Commercial use is allowed in every plan.
Get Pro
Pro comes with a TholusOS Core, Pro or Enterprise plan.
- In Settings > Plan, click View Pro, then Buy Pro… to contact the team. The same window opens when you choose a Pro feature. The team sets up the plan and sends you TholusOS.
- Choose Sign in through TholusOS… once to activate this Mac.
The Account Tholus menu, in the VR Converter Studio menu, also contains Manage devices… for the Macs activated with your account and Refresh account license to check it again.
Updates
VR Converter Studio checks for updates automatically. Choose Check for Updates… in the app menu to look now. An update waits until running exports finish.
